Marc Bishara

Marc graduated from Otago University, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Commerce and gained his Chartered Accountancy qualification with Ernst & Young in Christchurch, Sydney and New York.  He has 30 years’ experience leading finance teams in multinational matrix organisations in the higher education, digital publishing, television and CRO sectors.

 

Marc joined Charles River in 2019 and is currently Finance Director, Discovery leading a business partnering team supporting Discovery sites across the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium, together with a newly acquired site in Chicago.

 

Marc is accountable for managing the financial function, working alongside senior leadership to maximise financial performance and support the strategic direction of the business.  Fundamental to this role is ensuring the accuracy of the month end results, revenue outlook and the forecast / budget process.  Commercial support for business decision-making flows from accurate financial planning and analysis.
